Today's diary by Bernice:

left Paris to London and stopped in Vimy Ridge and saw "stuffed" sheep sitting on green grass behind electric fence
Bern accidently touched electric fence but did not get shocked =)
rained really hard, saw trenches and bomb marks
Calais ferry raid: saw CD (the Top 30 mix Jane played everyday on bus), bought Twix
Dover: lined up for customs
arrived at hotel 2 hours early
walked with Harris and Dan from hotel down Oxford Street, to Trafalgar Square, 10 Downing Street, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace
helped stranger fix camera =)
took subway from St. James to Leicester
met Pat, Conrad, Alin, Carina and Marina for dinner in chinatown
convinced Carina and Marina to stay for dinner
Conrad and Pat flipped coin for orange and turned out to be 2 pieces anyway (after dinner)
brought bags to station for Carina and Alin, just made it!
went back to hotel to pub for goodbyes with tour people
Bern saw Joanie and she thanked Bern
went to Conrad and Pat and Mike's room to say goodbye
