bad breakfast with hollow bread and diluted juice
went into town and bought film / battery
followed the lady's tour of the Coloseum, forum, senate, city hall, etc., many ruins
went to Vatican
couldn't find Dan
went to Post office
Harris got hungry
Beautiful Sistine chapel, many Raphael rooms, Michelangelo
beautiful
very packed
pizza place for lunch
bought an expensive Fanta
St. Peter's Basilica: big Basilica
crypt underneath with Pat and Dan
waited for Dan and pat who went upstairs
had ice-cream
Conrad got only small ice-cream
Cappucin monks but closed
dinner in Alex Café
pasta, Dan had fruit salad
to Circus Maximum but subway was closed
went to next stop (Pyramide)
Bern got tummy ache, so came home through subway and train
