Bern liked Ovolmaltine
went down on cable car with Uncle Dan
took public bus to Lucerne
Dan went to post office
watch / knife shop
Bern liked watch; Harris said to wait
Mike bought cuckoo clock and others bought knives: blue / black / green
walked over mini-bridge to wall
walked up tower and got tired
camera bag strap broke and Conrad had temporary solution
Bern got insoles
went out to lunch at fondue place
Mike dissatisfied
lots of alcohol
Pat got swimming trunks
another watch store
Bern liked aluminum watch
went to Gubelin's and saw expensive watches
went back to get engraved knives
and Pat's engraving was still wet when Mike rubbed it
Bern bought watch and was very happy (it is now scratched)
Dan bought watch (it is now broken)
it rained and Harris used Mickey Mouse poncho
went up cog railway (48% grade) but the seats weren't parallel to the tracks =(
souvenir shop and bought cow salt and pepper shaker
went to Dan &  Conrad's room, watching Simpson's
Bern sewed
went to dinner: good soup and lots of salad
Dan put too much sour dressing
Conrad was hungry
Pat started glass noise!
